AMPHIBIC MACHINERY

Amphibious machines are designed for use on soils with little load-bearing capacity; such soils can be found in their pure form in swamps or moors. The constructive design predestines these machines for use near water. Thus, these machines are able to overcome typical obstacles in such areas. Completely floatable machines are possible.
The construction of these machines results in a very low soil pressure, which means that the existing soil structures are handled carefully and sensitive nature is protected.

Amphibious machines are conceivable in various forms, each of which is based on a crawler undercarriage in a pontoon construction. This undercarriage can be completely combined with various superstructures. The combination of such an undercarriage with the uppercarriage of a hydraulic excavator is typical.
